The FS 94 RC-E is the lightest brushcutter in this segment. It features STIHL 1-point anti-vibration system, ErgoStart, bike handle, control handle with ECOSPEED partially loaded function, STIHL 2-MIX engine, straight shaft and double shoulder harness. It is a very robust and powerful brushcutter for mowing large areas of long grass, clearing weeds, for tree cultivation and also for overgrown thickets and bushes. This particular model is suitable where access may be difficult. 
 
* STIHL ECOSPEED – enables the user to control the brushcutter engine speed individually on the operating handle
 
* Air filter with long service life - the easily accessible paper filter with a long service life means it can go for long intervals without changing
 
* Large fuel tank - the transparent fuel tank with a volume of 0.75 litres ensures long working intervals with fewer fuel stops. The level is easily visible from the outside. Easy to refuel through a large easily accessible tank opening
 
* Reduced-emission engine technology - 2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions
 
* Simplified starting system - set the choke, pump the fuel primer and pull the starter cord. The running machine then switches off after a brief press of the stop button. Once the machine is at a standstill, the ignition activates again automatically
 
* Anti-vibration system - STIHL has developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles
 
* Loop handle - the loop handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs
 
* STIHL ErgoStart - cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. A coil spring between the starter cord and the crankshaft smooth's out force peaks, making them virtually undetectable through the cord itself
 
* Shoulder strap/ carrying system - using a STIHL shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs
 
* Multi-function control handle - easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle
