The Handy THS80 36kg Broadcast Spreader
The larger of The Handy's broadcast spreaders — stepping up from the THS50 with a 36kg hopper capacity versus 23kg, and weighing in at 12.3kg versus 9.4kg. For larger lawns and grounds where the smaller model would require too many refilling stops, the extra capacity keeps the work moving with fewer interruptions.
The same broadcast principle applies — material is thrown out in a wide arc covering up to 12 feet (3.66m) per pass, making it considerably faster than a drop spreader for treating large open areas with seed, fertiliser, pesticide, herbicide, or ice-melting salts. Walking speed adjusts the spread width for different application requirements, and the adjustable feed control sets the rate for different materials.
The polypropylene hopper with metal frame balances corrosion resistance with structural durability, the hopper screen prevents clogging, and the included cover allows operation in damp conditions. Large wide-profile pneumatic tyres roll smoothly across uneven ground and provide the grip needed for consistent spreading output.
