EGO STA1600 Line Trimmer Attachment
The EGO STA1600 Line Trimmer Attachment is designed for precise grass trimming around fences, walls, borders and other awkward areas. Its dual-line cutting system provides efficient trimming performance, while the bump-feed head makes it easy to advance the line as you work.
The STA1600 forms part of EGO's versatile Multi-Tool system and can be quickly connected to a compatible power head. The Powerload™ automatic line-loading system is available when the STA1600 is paired with the PH1420E, making line replacement considerably quicker and easier.
STA1600 vs STA1700
The STA1600 and STA1700 are very similar attachments, but the main difference is their intended use and design:
- STA1600 – compact line trimmer attachment designed for general grass trimming and finishing work.
- STA1700 – larger, heavier-duty line trimmer attachment with a wider 40cm cutting swath, making it better suited to tackling larger areas and heavier grass.
- The STA1600 uses a 38cm cutting width, while the STA1700 provides a 40cm cutting width.
- Both use EGO's dual-line cutting system and are designed for use with the Multi-Tool power heads.
- Powerload™ is supported by the STA1600 when used with the PH1420E.
For smaller gardens and precision trimming, the STA1600 is the more compact choice, while the STA1700 is better suited to larger areas and more demanding trimming work.
