Building on the proven 553HRS platform, the PROHS model features a 13% faster ground speed, heavy-duty gearbox, strengthened handle brackets, protective deck liner and a robust front bumper, making it even better suited to intensive commercial use. The shaft-driven self-propelled transmission provides greater strength and longevity than conventional belt-driven systems, while the full-width steel rear roller creates the classic British striped finish and allows effortless mowing along lawn edges.
The heavy-duty aluminium cutter deck is corrosion-resistant for extended service life, while the fan-assisted collection system and 75-litre fabric grass collector deliver excellent grass collection, even in damp conditions. A Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) allows the blade to stop while the engine continues running, making it quick and convenient to empty the collector or move across hard surfaces without restarting the engine.
