The H206E is Segway's most advanced residential robotic mower, bringing automotive-grade solid-state LiDAR to garden care for the first time. Unlike GPS-only or boundary-wire mowers, it combines three positioning technologies simultaneously — LiDAR, Network RTK, and AI vision — so it maintains centimetre-level accuracy even under dense tree cover, along shaded borders, and through narrow passages where other robot mowers lose signal.
The solid-state LiDAR scans 200,000 points per second with no moving parts, making it both highly precise and extremely durable for long-term outdoor use. Plattsrobotics The result is a mower that genuinely handles complex UK gardens — split lawns, irregular shapes, sloped areas up to 45% — without ever needing a wire buried in the ground or an external antenna installed.
