Most robot mowers navigate using GPS or RTK satellite signals alone. That works well in open, unobstructed gardens — but add a mature tree canopy, a building casting a signal shadow, or a narrow passage between structures, and the accuracy starts to suffer. The i210E LiDAR takes a different approach, leading with solid-state LiDAR as its primary navigation system rather than relying on satellite signals to do the heavy lifting.
Scanning at 200,000 points per second across a 70-metre detection range, it builds a 3D point cloud map of your garden with four times the resolution of standard industry mowers. That level of detail means it knows where it is to within millimetres — not just in ideal conditions, but consistently, including at night and in areas where GPS is compromised. The 50ms scanning interval means the map updates continuously as it moves, rather than working from a snapshot taken at setup.
GeoSketch™ handles the initial mapping automatically. Place the mower on the lawn, start it through the app, and it maps the space itself — no manual driving required, no boundary wires to bury. VisionFence™ combines the LiDAR data with a 140° RGB camera to identify over 200 obstacle types, detecting objects as small as 1cm. The 2.4" LCD screen on the mower itself provides status information without needing to open the app, which is a small but genuinely useful touch for day-to-day use.
The 5.1Ah battery runs for 110 minutes per charge, the rear-drive system handles slopes up to 45%, and connectivity covers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G.
