The larger of The Handy's towed plug aerators — stepping up from the THTPA40 with a 48" (121cm) working width and 32 heat-treated coring points rather than 24. The wider coverage and additional tines make it the right choice for estates, sports fields, and larger domestic properties where coverage speed and thoroughness both matter.
The 32 heat-treated coring points penetrate to a maximum 7cm depth, removing plugs of soil across the full 48" width in a single pass to open up channels for oxygen, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone. The single-hand lift lever adjusts depth and raises the tines on the move without stopping, the reinforced weight tray accepts additional ballast for deeper penetration on harder ground, and the 25cm pneumatic tyres provide stable, smooth progress across varied terrain including uneven ground and slopes.
