A compact cordless tiller for raised beds, vegetable plots, flower borders, and container gardening where a petrol tiller would be too large and heavy to manoeuvre comfortably. At 4.36kg with battery it's light enough to use in tight spaces and between established plants without damaging surrounding growth, and the cordless operation means no cable to manage around raised beds or across the garden.
The 12 tines dig and turn soil to a depth of 15cm across an 8" (20cm) width — deep enough for effective weed removal, incorporating compost, and breaking up surface crust before planting. It's the right tool for regular maintenance cultivation between crops and seasonal soil preparation in medium-sized growing areas rather than breaking up virgin or heavily compacted ground, where the larger petrol tillers would be more appropriate.
