Webb WEPS400 16" (40cm) Petrol Lawn Scarifier & Raker
For larger lawns where an electric scarifier would require extension leads or run out of cable reach, the WEPS400 offers the same thorough treatment without any cord restrictions. The 212cc Webb DVO212 OHV four-stroke engine provides considerably more power than an electric equivalent, and the 16" (40cm) working width covers ground faster than the 14" (36cm) electric model — making it the practical choice for larger gardens where scarifying would otherwise take most of a day.
Two interchangeable cassettes are included — an 18-blade steel scarifier cassette for cutting through and removing compacted thatch and moss from the root, and a 28 spring claw raking cassette for lifting loose moss and surface debris. Using both in sequence gives the most thorough treatment, opening the lawn surface to improve water drainage, nutrient absorption, and air circulation at the root level.
Eight working depths from +5mm to -15mm via a single lever covers the full range from a light surface rake to deep tilling — more range than the electric model and genuinely useful for lawns in varying conditions. The 45-litre collection bag gathers debris as you work, or rear eject returns material to the lawn if preferred. Large wheels aid manoeuvrability across the full 34kg weight, and fold-down handlebars keep storage compact.
