Each machine also comes with a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind.

• PREMIUM

Machines from the Mitox Premium range offer features that are designed for the toughest tasks and the more demanding user. This includes higher output engines, more effective anti-vibration systems and a range of additional features to further enhance the experience. Models from this range feature a 5-year domestic warranty.

Common Features

There are a few features common across all Mitox handhelds in store this year:

• Full-crank engines

Despite the low price, every Mitox machine features a robust, 2-stroke petrol motor with bearings on both sides of the crankshaft. This design reduces the empty space within the crankcase, forcing more fuel through the transfer ports into the cylinder, contributing to a more durable, higher performance engine, with lower vibration when compared to alternatives in the same price range.

• Easy Start

At just £139, the 25C-SP is a perfectly capable grass trimmer at a great price - an ideal entry-level model for light domestic use. It is an easy-to-use, stress-free design with an ergonomic loop handle and the latest Mitox Easy Start 25.4cc engine. It also features a split-shaft system with aluminium coupling, allowing it to be easily split in two for easier storage. The bent shaft makes it easier to use and manoeuvre, especially in tight or confined garden spaces.

26L Select Petrol Brushcutter

A small step up in price at £189, the 26L offers a similar specification to the 25C-SP, but features a straight shaft for higher transfer of power from the engine to the cutting head, along with a blade for handling especially tough areas. It also comes with a double harness for better control and (compared to the single harness on the 25C-SP) an increased 3-year warranty for peace of mind.

26U Select Petrol Brushcutter

The 26U shares the same features as the 26L, with the addition of a cow-horn handle (U-handle), providing a more comfortable, ergonomic sweeping motion that is ideal for large, open areas or heavy brush clearing.

28LH Select Petrol Long Reach Hedge Trimmer

With its overall length of 2.4m, the Mitox 28LH is the ideal tool for reaching high hedges a standard cutter can’t. Much like the other models, it features the newest Mitox 25.4cc engine with SmartPull recoil assist. It also offers 180° articulation across 11 hedge cutting positions for precise, angled trimming, and the split shaft system allows for easy storage when finished.

SELECT 5-in-1 Petrol Multi-Tool

For ultimate versatility, the Mitox 28MT is the ideal 5-in-1 garden maintenance package for domestic gardens. It comes with a bump-feed grass trimmer head, a tri-blade brush cutting blade, an advanced pruner with seven adjustable positions, a 58cm double sided hedge cutter, and a 1m extension shaft for extra height. It is powered by the same Mitox 25.4cc engine and also features a split-shaft system for easy storage and change of attachments, and enhanced anti-vibration technology for more comfortable use.
